Who we are

LawnMow IT is made by PettigrewLab LLC, a small family software studio in Colorado. Questions about anything here go to pettigrewlabllc@gmail.com, and a real person reads it.

What we collect

Two kinds of thing, and it is worth keeping them apart.

Your account. Your name, email address and profile photo, which come from Google when you sign in. Your business name, business email, logo and service settings, if you fill those in. Your subscription status.

What you put into the app about your work. Customers you add, and for each one the name, address, phone number and email you enter. Jobs, schedules and the notes you write on them. Before and after photos you take. Invoices and what they were for. Mileage you log. Crews you set up, and their sign-in details.

Quote requests from your website. If someone fills in your public quote form, we store what they send you: their name, email, phone number, address and notes. It's there so the request lands in your lead queue.

Most of that second category is information about your customers, entered by you. You are the one who decided to collect it, and you are responsible for having told them. We hold it so the app can show it back to you.

Which screens you opened. The app records the area you were in and the time, so the activity feed can show you what has been happening in the business. It is that and nothing more: an area name and a timestamp.

We do not ask for your location, and the app does not track where your phone is.

Who else sees it

Nobody buys it, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone. These are the services that handle it because the app needs them to work.

• Google Firebase stores essentially all of it, and handles signing you in. Your data sits in Google Cloud. Signing in can also send Google some information about your device, which Firebase uses to spot automated abuse.
• Stripe handles money. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. If you set up payouts, Stripe collects what it needs to pay you.
• Resend sends the emails the app sends on your behalf. That means a customer's email address goes through it, along with whatever the email carries: an invoice, a reminder, or a message you wrote.
• Google Maps turns customer addresses into map pins and driving routes, which means those addresses are sent to Google.
• Open-Meteo gives us the rainfall and forecast for a property. Usually it only gets map coordinates. If Google can't place an address, the address itself goes to Open-Meteo so it can find the spot. It never gets a customer's name.
• Vercel runs the website and the server. On the website, Vercel Analytics also counts page visits. It doesn't run inside the Android app.
• Microsoft Clarity records how people move around the marketing website, so we can see which parts confuse them. It runs on the website only. It is switched off entirely inside the Android app, so it never sees a customer's name, an address, a photo of someone's property, or an invoice.

Nothing is sent to an AI service. The app does not use one.

Photos

Photos you take of a property are stored in Google Cloud Storage and are visible to you, to the crew assigned to that job, and to the customer through the private portal link for their own visits. They are not public, and they are not indexed anywhere. When you tap the button to take one, the app opens your phone's own camera app. It doesn't ask for camera permission itself, and it doesn't save a copy to your photo library.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. Cancelling a subscription does not delete anything: your data stays so you can come back to it, which is deliberate and is what most people want after a slow winter.

When you delete your account we remove it. See deleting your account for what goes and what has to stay.

Your choices

You can see and change almost all of it inside the app. You can export your invoices and your mileage as files you keep. You can delete your account, which is the switch that removes the rest.

If you want a copy of what we hold, or want something corrected and cannot do it in the app, email us and we will sort it out.

Children

LawnMow IT is a tool for running a business. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Where your data lives

On Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. If you are using the app from outside the US, that is where it goes.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who sees it, this page changes, and the date at the top changes with it. It is the same page every time, so a bookmark keeps working.
